Lead Acid Battery
Lead Acid Battery (VRLA) is a battery whose electrodes are mainly made of lead and its oxide and whose electrolyte is sulfuric acid solution. In the discharge state, lead dioxide is the main component of the positive electrode and lead is the main component of the negative electrode. Under charging state, the main components of both positive and negative electrodes are lead sulfate. Lead-acid battery whether in traffic, communication, electric power, military or in navigation, aviation in various economic fields, lead-acid battery has played an indispensable role. According to the structure and use of lead-acid battery, the battery is roughly divided into four categories: 1, start with lead-acid battery; 2, power with lead-acid battery; 3. Fixed valve-controlled sealed lead-acid battery; 4, other classes, including small valve-controlled sealed lead-acid battery, lead-acid battery for mining lamp, etc.
Main characteristics of lead-acid battery
Security seal
During normal operation, the electrolyte does not leak out of the battery terminals or housing. There's no free acid.
Special suction dividers keep the acid inside, and there is no free acid inside the cell, so the cell can be placed anywhere.
Frustrated system
When the battery pressure exceeds the normal level, the VRLA battery releases excess gas and automatically reseals to ensure that there is no excess gas in the battery.
Simple maintenance
Because the gas compound system converts the gas produced into water, no water is needed in the process of using the VRLA battery.
Long service life
The VRLA battery is made of lead-calcium alloy bars with anti-corrosion structure and can be used for 10-15 years with floating charge.
